About Us

A Program Built on Understanding, Designed for Real Progress

Where Lived Experience Meets Professional Expertise

Majestic Movements was founded by Amanda Farr, who brings both professional expertise and lived experience into the space.  With a Master's degree in Autism and a Certificate IV in Fitness through the Australian Institute of Fitness, Amanda combines evidence-based understanding with practical, strength-focused training approaches.

As a parent of two sons with high support autism, she has also experienced firsthand the gap between available services and what families truly need.  This dual perspective inspired her to create something more than supervision  - programs where participants can build strength, confidence and genuine social connection in a safe, supportive, and truly inclusive environment

Partnering with Lee Svensson, an Accredited Exercise Scientist with over 20 years’ experience working with people with autism, they combined lived experience with professional expertise to create a structured, research-informed program designed to support meaningful progress in physical health, emotional regulation and social development.

Flexibility within a structure that supports social connections

Individual Needs First

Every participant is different, which is why our sessions are designed to be adaptable and responsive. We take the time to understand individual needs, abilities and goals, ensuring each person is supported in a way that feels safe, achievable and engaging, ensuring all participants achieve success.

Movement with Purpose

Our programs combine fitness, yoga and functional movement to improve coordination, strength, body awareness and emotional regulation. Each activity is intentional, helping participants build both physical capability and confidence over time.

Built on Experience and Research

Majestic Movements brings together lived experience and professional expertise. Our approach is informed by research in movement, wellbeing and autism support, ensuring sessions are structured to deliver meaningful and measurable outcomes.

A Supportive Environment for Growth

Progress happens in environments where people feel safe and supported. Our sessions are designed to reduce overwhelm, encourage participation and create positive social experiences, helping participants build confidence and connection at their own pace.

Creating Space for Mindfulness and Calm

Calm is the foundation.  When we gently support neurodivergent minds with a mindful approach, validate their worries, and help them understand how these worries can feel bigger than they are, we create space for safety, growth and real progress.  These minds don't need to be "fixed" - they need to be understood, regulated and empowered to navigate the world in their own way.
